Karisuma Group was founded by Swedish entrepreneur Per Roth to support storytelling and encourage creative independence. The company will be the home to stories reaching the world through books, games, movies, and whatever else we dream up next.
A WORD FROM THE FOUNDER
There seems to be an innate human fascination with storytelling. From ancient tales told around the campfire to cave paintings, we’ve always felt the urge to share stories, both to feel connected and to pass on meaning. At the end of the day, people are a storytelling species.
What makes us human is also our ability to create. At the core of everything lies creativity. Without creativity, there is nothing.
When you bring creativity and storytelling together, you get something magical, something that transcends different cultures. Something to share, something to gather around.
I started writing books simply for my own enjoyment, but I also love sharing my stories. If Karisuma Group can help even one person feel entertained for a while, and forget about life’s hardships, then we’ve done something truly worthwhile.
